What is ultrapure water?
Ultra pure water refers to water with a resistivity of 18M Ω * cm (25 ℃). This type of water has almost no impurities except for water molecules, and there are no organic substances such as bacteria, viruses, and chlorine dioxins. Of course, it also does not have the necessary mineral trace elements for the human body, which means that almost all atoms except oxygen and hydrogen are removed from the water.
What is electronic grade ultrapure water?
The production of integrated circuits requires almost every process to be cleaned with ultrapure water, and the workpiece comes into direct contact with water. On the one hand, the chips are cleaned of trace impurities during the processing, and on the other hand, the trace impurities in pure water may contaminate the chips again, undoubtedly having a great impact on the product. With the further improvement of integrated circuits, the requirements for pollutants in water will also become stricter. Since the late 1960s, when five American companies proposed the water quality standards for pure water used in integrated circuits, impurities have been reduced by 1/2 to 1/10 for each generation of integrated circuits. The electronic grade water quality standards issued by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) in 1983 and 1990 are no longer suitable for the rapid development of ultra large scale integrated circuits. Currently, ASTM has proposed new and more stringent water quality indicators.
A new solution for particle control of electronic grade ultrapure water
The requirement for electronic grade ultrapure water requires an instrument with particle control function to control the water quality of ultrapure water. Monitor the size and quantity of particles in electronic grade ultrapure water to determine its level and cleanliness. The PMT-2 liquid particle counter independently developed and produced by puluody is an integrated instrument specifically designed for controlling electronic grade ultrapure water particles. The instrument host integrates the sampling system, detection system, and display operating system into one, and a single instrument can complete real-time, online, and uninterrupted particle monitoring. It is a rare particle monitoring instrument for ultrapure water preparation integrators, ultrapure water applications, and ultrapure water cleaning production lines.
The PMT-2 liquid particle counter adopts the innovative eighth generation dual laser narrow light particle detection sensor based on the core technology of UK Proudy, with dual precision flow control - precision metering plunger pump and ultra precision flow electromagnetic control system. It can monitor and analyze particles online or offline for cleaning agents, semiconductors, ultrapure water, electronic products, flat glass, silicon chips and other products. Currently, it is an important product of UK Proudy Analysis and Testing Group in the water quality and micro nano detection fields.
